Dont spend all your time looking backwards
Perspective. Do you spend your time looking back at what has been and wishing you had done things differently? Looking back leaves you as you would be if you were driving a boat in the harbour, steering by the wake, a very dangerous practice. The past is good for all of us it teaches us life lessons to be used in our futures. However, each new phase in our lives has a different set of benchmarks and our skills have to be applied in a other ways in order to ensure that we successfully navigate these new opportunities. Keep in mind that your best successes are still ahead of you. Work on a better future for you?
For a long time it seemed to me that life was about to begin, real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life. This perspective has helped me to see there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. So treasure every moment you have and remember that time waits for no one. Happiness is a journey, not a destination... - Souza
