Butterfield falls 6 cents
Butterfield Bank was the day’s only mover on the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.
A thousand of the bank’s shares traded, closing down six cents, or 5.08 percent, to end the day at $1.12.
Forty Butterfield Bank Preference Shares also traded, closing unchanged at $1235.
Overall the BSX closed down 28.43, or 2.69 percent, at 1,029.72.
The BSX Insurance Index finished the day down as well at 1005.00, dropping 10.00 or 0.99 percent.
