Butterfield drops 1.75%
Bank of Butterfield fell 1.75 percent (two cents) to $1.12 on the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday with a total of 11,400 shares trading hands.
Utility company Ascendant Group also dropped 0.07 percent (one cent) to finish at $13.26 on a volume of 10,352 shares.
Overall, the BSX was down 9.57 points (0.92 percent) at 1,030.62 with 21,752 shares worth $150,219.
The BSX Insurance Index, however, was up three points (0.3 percent) at 998.
