Butterfield declines
Butterfield Bank fell 4.2 percent, or 5 cents, to $1.15 on the Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday.
Some 5,000 of the Bank’s shares traded hands.
Ascendant group shares also traded, closing up 10 cents, or 0.8 percent, to $13.20, on a volume of 1,800 shares.
Overall the BSX fell 22.83, or 2.13 percent, to1,048.64.
The BSX Insurance Index was unchanged at 1004.00. It was a US holiday.
