Sushi restaurant to open in St Georges
A sushi restaurant is one of two new businesses opening in the Town of St. Georges.
Tamasuns Japanese House will open in the former Crissons store on the corner on York Street.
The owner is Tammy Jean Warner, who is currently looking to hire staff for the restaurant, described as offering sushi, sashimi, tamaki, tempura, and fusion wok dishes.
The space has been gutted and completely refitted.
A new convenience is expected to open soon in the vacant space opposite Burrows Lightbourn liquor store on York Street. Its currently being renovated.
The Old Town has seen a burst of new businesses opening in the last 12 months, including Chris Dawson Fine Art Studio and the Endemic Arts Collective, whose tattoo studio is expected to open in the spring.
