Butterfield Bank up 9% on the BSX
Butterfield Bank shot up 10 cents (9.09 percent) on the Bermuda Stock Exchange with 32,700 shares trading to close at $1.20. Butterfield Bank Preferred also rose $5 (.40 percent) with 62 shares trading to close at $1235. KeyTech also jumped 4 cents (.76 percent) with 2,700 shares trading to close at $5.30.
Overall, the BSX closed at 1065.30, up 47.89 points (4.71 percent) with 35,700 shares trading worth BD$56,545 and 62 US shares trading worth US$77,226.45.
Correction: It was incorrectly stated in yesterdays paper that Argus jumped 20 cents to close at $15.25 with 7,000 shares trading BF&M was the correct company.
