Pacers head to Philly for meet

Bermuda Pacers Track Club will take eight young athletes to the United Age Group Coaches Association’s Indoor Track Meet at Widener University, in Philadelphia, this weekend.

It will be the first time the Pacers contingent have competed at the event.

Juma Mouchette (1500 metres), Kyle Webb (200 and 400m), Jahmari Sutton (1500m, 400m and high jump) and Rachel Fox will compete in the high school division.

Jaymie Darrell (200 and 400m), Demiqua Daniels (200 and 400m) will take part in the 13 and 14 age group, while Sajan Harvey (200 and 400m) and Syriah Lottimore (200m, 400m and long jump) will test themselves in the 11 and 12 category.

The team of eight, many of who will represent Bermuda at the upcoming Carifta Games to be held on the Island, headed to Philadelphia yesterday and will return on Sunday.
