Police arrested four people and seized “significant quantities” of illegal drugs during two raids.

Officers from the Public Protection Department of the Bermuda Police Service executed a search warrant at a Nantucket Lane, Smith’s property, on Thursday.

A police spokesman said: “Two persons were arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.”

The following day, officers from the same department searched a property on Schools Drive in Devonshire.

The spokesman said: “Officers seized a significant quantity of suspected controlled drugs. As a result, a 43-year-old male and a 27-year-old female, both from Devonshire, were arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.”

All four people arrested were later released on police bail and inquiries are ongoing.
