Argus and KeyTech stumble

Argus and KeyTech tumbled last week on the Bermuda Stock Exchange while Ascendant and Butterfield Preferred made gains.

Argus fell five percent (20 cents) trading 98,584 shares to close at $3.80. Argus’s market capitalisation now stands at $81.7 million. KeyTech also fell 20 cents (3.66 percent) with 900 shares trading to close at $5.25.

Two other companies moved in the opposite direction.

Butterfield Preferred climbed $10 (.81 percent) to $1230 on low volume with only ten shares trading. Ascendant Group also climbed five cents (.37 percent) to $13.25 with 2,300 shares trading. Butterfield Bank traded 92,200 shares to close at $1.30 with no change in share price.

Overall, the BSX slid 5.65 points (.51 percent) last week to close at 1,099.52. Share volume topped 194,000 while total turnover was more than $540,000.
