Outerbridge named City of Hamilton mayor

New Mayor of Hamilton Graeme Outerbridge and members of Team Hamilton after tonight's election win.

Graeme Outerbridge is the new mayor of Hamilton, ousting Charles Gosling by 109 votes to 88.
He told The Royal Gazette: "I'm elated. It's an amazing feeling. I'm going to be evaluating everything, taking stock and listening to the people to see where we go from here."
Mr Outerbridge led a raft of challengers under the title Team Hamilton.
Members Gwyneth Rawlins, Donal Smith and Carlton Simmons were voted in as Aldermen, replacing John Harvey, Marshall Minors and Dennis Tucker.
Ms Rawlins and Mr Smith each received 121 votes; Mr Simmons 115; Mr Harvey and Mr Marshall 77 and Mr Tucker 67.
Meanwhile, Roseann Edwards, Troy Symonds, Lawrence Scott, George Scott and Anthony Davis were voted in as Common Councillors.
Walter Cross, Pamela-Ann Quarterly and Nicholas Swan had also made a bid for the post.
Ms Edwards received 150 votes; Mr Symonds 135; Lawrence Scott 129; Goerge Scott 128 and Mr Davis 111.
Mr Cross received 83 votes, Ms Quarterly 75 and Mr Swan 94.
