Duffy shines in San Diego
Bermuda's Flora Duffy followed up her recent win at the Huatulco ITU Triathlon World Cup with another strong showing at today's ITU World Triathlon San Diego.
The Olympic-bound triathlete completed the 1.5K swim, 40K bike ride and 10K run in a combined time of two hours and 46 seconds to finish sixth in a field of more than 50 athletes.
Duffy's time in San Diego today was faster than her time in Mexico (2:13.17) ast weekend.
England's Helen Jenkins won the event in a time of on hour, 58 minutes and 20 seconds with Australian Erin Densham and American Laura Bennett rounding off the podium finishers.
