West Hamilton Holdings sky-rocketed $2 (47 percent) on the Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday, trading 6,400 shares to close at $6.25. West Hamilton Holdings’ market capitalisation now stands at $18.05 million.

The move came before the company announced that its operating profit for 2011 rose 12.6 percent to $633,000 on strong demand for parking lot spaces.

Telecommunications group KeyTech Ltd also jumped 25 cents (4.76 percent) to close at $5.50 with 4,600 shares trading.

Insurer BF&M dropped one cent (0.06 percent) to close at $15.73 with 2,000 shares trading.

Overall, the BSX closed at 1,106.66, up 5.45 points (.50 percent), trading 13,000 shares worth $96,339.
