The Bermuda Department of Tourism’s contract with Expedia expires this summer and the BDoT are looking for a replacement.

A request for proposal has been posted on the jobs section of US travel industry website Travel Weekly.

The department states in the ad that it is “seeking the services of a company that can provide a private label online reservation solution for its websites, both domestically and internationally”.

It says the system must allow users of the tourism websites to book flights, accommodation, vacation packages and cruises, and organisations who apply must demonstrate “proven experience” and a “commitment to excellence”.

The closing date for the RFP is May 31 at 5pm.
