What happens after free mammogram?

Free mammogram screenings are welcome, but what happens afterwards?
Free, but then what?
May 21, 2012
Dear Sir,
I hear the advertising on the radio advocating for free health screening for women to have mammograms from Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre but no one talks about the costs if diagnosed.
Will the patient have to pay for an uninsured visit to a doctor to discuss the results? If deemed possibly cancer, does the patient have access to medical care or will the woman just have to worry about her fate as she cannot afford treatment?
Equally as important are dental, eye exams, Pap Smears and bone density exams.
Can an uninsured person get these tests free if they are over the age of 16 yet not a senior? If so, where? Most importantly after the test is treatment available?
Well over 3,000 of us unemployed who would like an answer — men plus women.
Can all heath care services promote any free access to healthcare please?
