The Government Health Insurance Department will host a debate on FutureCare this week featuring student debaters from a host of local schools this week.

The event will be held at the Heritage Worship Centre on Dundonald Street on Wednesday at 6pm.

Students will debate the motion “This house believe that FutureCare is good enough”, in a “vital dialogue on wide-reaching issues of national and strategic importance”.

The aim of the debate is to increase public awareness on the healthcare plan.

The debate will be followed by a question and answer period.

The event is free and organisers say it promises to be both educational and entertaining, light refreshments will be served as well.

The number to call to confirm attendance is 278-8205 or 295-9210.
