Q: Why is a hyperlink?

A: A hyperlink is a tool that directs you to specific web page. Hyperlinks are often included in articles and in e-mails to provide the reader with additional information on a topic. This is what a hyperlink would looks like: http://www.royalgazette.com

You can send or post hyperlinks by simply copying the URL of a web page and pasting it into the body of an e-mail or on your favourite social media site. If you receive a link and it doesn’t open when you click on it, simply right click and select the open hyperlink option. Another option is to copy and paste the link into your web browser.
