Bermuda 800 metres runner Shaquille Dill has qualified for next month’s World Junior Championships in Barcelona, Spain.

Dill, who a silver medal at the Carifta Games, finished third at the New Balance Boston Twilight Meet in Waltham, Massachusetts in a time of 1:50.78 at the weekend.

Coached by Gerry Swan, Dill’s time was more than five seconds quicker than the time he ran at the Carifta Games at the National Sports Centre in April.

The World Junior Championships will be held in Barcelona from July 10 to July 15.
