Strange tides spotted

Dear Sir,
Not sure what you would call this but at Jobson’s Cove this evening, it was pretty weird seeing water literally joining up with Horseshoe Bay’s side. If this wasn’t freaky enough, further down Horseshoe Bay Beach, there two more areas that didn’t look right (as though the high tide went overboard or something).
This needs to be looked into as it looked like something out of a Sci-fi movie.
