Telecommunications round-table discussion focused on advertised services
The Telecommunications Commission has held an industry round-table discussion following concerns and complaints from residents.
A Government spokeswoman said yesterday that the complaints largely focused on advertised services not always being delivered and the issue of value for money.
Key recommendations with action points were formulated and the Commission will now be facilitating an industry work stream plan for the effective implementation of these recommendations, the spokeswoman said.
They, in consultation with industry representatives, will also design a Frequently Asked Questions sheet to be posted on all carrier websites and at their place of business.
The Commission are now asking the public to make written submissions to the Commission regarding the quality of internet service before June 18.
