Pair charged with murder of James Lawes
Two men appeared in Magistrates' Court today, charged with the murder of Jamaican James Lawes.
Mr Lawes was shot dead in Pembroke on March 19, 2010.
David Cox and Devon Hewey were also charged with the attempted murder of Maurice Martin and Robin Stovell and using a firearm for premeditated murder on that same date.
Neither Mr Cox nor Mr Hewey was required to enter a plea as their charges are indictable and must be heard before the Supreme Court.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded both men into custody and ordered that they return to court for mention on June 21.
