The Department of Planning will be offering only limited service on Monday as staff take part in a strategic planning workshop.

Normal service is expected to resume on Tuesday.

A Department spokeswoman said: “The reception desk will be manned, but service will be limited to providing basic information, receiving applications and handing over documents that are awaiting collection.

“The majority of technical staff will not be available for consultation.”

The workshop is one of several initiatives that will be undertaken in the coming months in an effort to improve the service to clients.
