Three Bermudian university students will spend the summer working in the tourism industry after receiving internships through the Department of Tourism.

Dawayne Fubler, Chelsea Hassell and Alexis Minors were selected as the winners of the David H Allen Memorial Internship Programme. Each student will work with a marketing company or at one of the Department of Tourism offices.

Mr Fubler, who is studying hospitality management, will be interning at the Bermuda Department of Tourism office in New York, while Ms Hassell, studying tourism management, will intern at the Bermuda office. Ms Minors, majoring in marketing, will have her internship at Lou Hammond Associates in New York.

The students will spend eight weeks working at their assigned offices.
