Dear Sir,
With another selection (Mary Prince) to our lists of National Heroes, I wondered briefly how we can honour our greatest citizens for years to come, where we can continue to cherish and remember the contributions they have made.
Mr Editor, the time is now upon us to find a piece of land for the sole purpose of creating a location for the enshrinement of our national heroes that all citizens can enjoy for many years to come. It would also be an important education tool that was so missing during most of our learning years.
It is important where this propose project is located but it should not to be enclosed in a building so as not to be restricted for anyone at any time from visiting and learning, or for wanting to pay tribute to the chosen ones. Im sure we could find a suitable location that will be appreciated by Bermudians and tourists alike. Another step towards developing knowledge in helping to shape our young people! With this we could further celebrate their accomplishments as we should.
