A man has been released from hospital after treatment for stab wounds sustained in a family dispute on Thursday evening.
The Royal Gazette reported yesterday that the altercation between a father and stepson at a home in Palmetto Road, Pembroke, landed the father in the emergency room.
Giving an update yesterday, a police spokesman said: Around 7pm on Tuesday, June 19, police and first responders attended a reported incident at a residence in the Palmetto Road, Bishop Spencer Road, Pembroke, area.
It appears that prior to arrival, a dispute took place between two family members. As a result, a 47-year-old Pembroke man was stabbed; however his injuries were not considered life threatening.
The victim was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance where he was treated and later released. Inquiries are ongoing.
