Bascome camp deadline extended
The deadline for the HSBC Pro Soccer Clinic registration has been extended to next Monday.
Catering to youth players between the ages of 4 -16 years old, the two-week Bridge to Success clinic kick-offs on July 2 at the BAA Field.
Participants will be coached by former Bermuda international David Bascome and other professional players and coaches from Bermuda and the US.
HSBC Pro Soccer Clinic was founded 20 years ago and has seen more than 4,000 participants.
Applications are available for the Soccer Clinic at www.hsbc.bm/inthecommunity, or in HSBC Branches.
In addition to providing players with the opportunity to build on their skills, coaches will promote learning, positive discipline and becoming team players on and off the field.
Life skills sessions will be incorporated into the programme and topics will cover game awareness, health and fitness and social conduct.
The School of Excellence co-ed programme, running from July 9 to 13, will again be offered to the top ten participants from the week one programme.
