BF&M climbs 4.7%
BF&M Ltd was the biggest climber on the Bermuda Stock Exchange domestic board last week, climbing 4.7 percent.
The insurer gained 70 cents to close on $15.70, as 2,800 of its share changed hands during the four-day trading week shortened for last Mondays National Heroes Day holiday.
Telecommunications group KeyTech Ltd also had a good week on the markets, gaining 15 cents, or three percent, on the trading of 3,600 shares, to close on $5.20 on Friday.
Energy company Ascendant Group Ltd saw the biggest fall in share price last week, slipping 25 cents, or 1.9 percent, to end the week on $12.75. One thousand Ascendant shares changed hands.
Butterfield Bank also dipped one cent, or 0.8 percent, to $1.24, as more than 20,000 shares were exchanged.
The Royal Gazette / BSX Index fell 0.22 points, or 0.02 percent, to finish last week on 1,070.37. Volume was 27,877 shares and turnover was $100,656.40.
