Front Street between Parliament and King Streets will be closed to all traffic this weekend to allow asphalt paving.

Westbound traffic on Front Street will have to detour onto Parliament Street to Church Street. Traffic heading into Hamilton along East Broadway will be diverted up Spurling Hill onto Reid Street.

Pedestrians will still be able to access the Number 8 Car Park and other restaurants and shops in the area.

In addition, traffic lights at the junction of Bermudiana Road and Church Street will be turned off between 6am and 9am on Sunday. The City of Hamilton asks that motorists use caution while work is going on in the area.
