Volunteers from Validus Holdings pitched in at WindReach as part of the Red Cross’ Red, White and Do Day.

A team of about 20 Validus employees spent the day helping out at the facility for special needs children. It marks the second year that the company has assisted WindReach.

Validus CEO Ed Noonan said the company was proud to sponsor local initiatives and hoped others would be inspired to volunteer there as well. He said the facility has faced challenges in keeping costs down while maintaining necessary levels of staff.
