Road crash victim flown overseas for treatment

Police confirmed yesterday the 32-year-old Southampton man who was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash on Saturday has been flown overseas for further medical treatment.

The accident occurred on Middle Road in Southampton around 2.15am.

Meanwhile, the investigation continues and any witnesses are urged to contact Pc Jerry Waterman on 295-0011.

And the 22-year-old Devonshire man who sustained serious injuries in a bike crash on Palmetto Road in Devonshire, near the junction with Aeolia Drive remains in critical condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

Anyone who may have witnessed this accident which occurred around 2.15am on Monday is urged to contact Pc Wayne Sealy on the police main line to assist with the ongoing investigation.
