The Public Accounts Committee [PAC] is due to continue its probe into misuse of public funds tomorrow, Thursday July 5.

The meeting, at the Senate Chamber in the Cabinet Building on Front Street, will examine matters first raised by Auditor General Heather JacobsMatthews, in December.

Mrs Matthews said public funds were inappropriately spent on consultancy fees by the Bermuda Land Development Company.

She further stated that money was wrongly spent to fund the private legal fees of former Premier Ewart Brown and Government MP Derrick Burgess.

The PAC has been questioning those named in the report, and will continue the probe at 3pm tomorrow. Members of the public are invited to attend and observe the meeting.
