Diesel price hits six-month low
The price of diesel has hit a six-month low, down more than 15 cents from its March high.
Motorists paid a maximum of 181.50 cents per litre at the pump in June, down 9.5 cents from May and 15.4 cents in March, when diesel hit its highest this year at 196.90 cents per litre.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Finance, the price of gasoline also fell marginally in June, decreasing 0.2 cents with the maximum retail price being 211.80 cents per litre.
Kerosene also hit a six-month low — at 154.90 cents per litre, dropping 9.5 cents from May and 14.4 cents from its highest price in March
Prices at the pump for regular gasoline this year have been:
January: 206.50 cents per litre
February: 211.70 cents per litre
March: 215.90 cents per litre
April: 220.50 cents per litre
May: 212.00 cents per litre
June: 211.80 cents per litre
