Johnny Barnes collapses expects to be at his post today
An ambulance was called to the Crow Lane Roundabout yesterday morning after Johnny Barnes appeared to collapse while waving to commuters.
Mr Barnes, 89, said he fell and was unable to get back up by himself.
He did not want to be taken to the hospital, so emergency responders took care of him at the scene.
Mr Barnes said he is feeling fine now, and fully expects to be back out welcoming commuters to Hamilton today.
