Reasons for apologies

Dear Sir,

Recently the Government has called on the Opposition to apologise.

May I ask the Government for an apology for the following:

4 Putting many independent truckers out of business

4 Promising St Georgians a hotel will be built

4 Introducing a healthcare system where one person pays more than another for the same benefit

4 Wastage of millions of dollars on cost overruns on Government capital projects

4 Not paying overtime to some of the lowest paid government workers

4 Giving an SDO which resulted in the building of the most unattractive and unneeded building project

4 Reducing the pensions of future retirees

4 Allowing crime to escalate to levels never seen before

4 Creating policies which have resulted in thousands of Bermudians to now be unemployed

4 Saddling future generations with a massive debt

Sir, I don’t expect an apology is forthcoming, I have been called a dreamer.
