The incident occurred around 3.20pm on Middle Road near Lukes Pond Road, the teenager was riding a pedal cycle and was reportedly in a collision with a bike and an SUV.
“All three vehicles were travelling along Middle Road when they collided, as a result the pedal cyclist was injured,” said a police spokesman.
"The victim was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial by ambulance. The two men in their 20s on the motorcycle received minor injuries.
"Traffic was diverted away from the scene; however that section of road was later reopened.”
Witnesses are urged to contact PC Gregory Battersbee on 295-0011 as inquiries continue.
