YCA Group Shot: Perspective Illusion
The Bermuda National Gallerys Youth Camera Action is a subsidised photography programme for middle school youth ages 11 to14. Students learn the basic principles of composition and photography, including how to use a digital camera, as well as the manual mode.
Each session starts at the Bermuda National Gallery, where participants learn creative strategies while developing a portfolio of images. Sponsors generously cover all costs, including instruction, equipment rental, photographic paper and field trips to photo locations.
The 201½012 school year was sponsored by Catlin End-to-End, the summer programme is sponsored by BTC, and 2012/2013 school year will be sponsored by the Ross Blackie Talbot Charity Classic.
