LONDON - Jenaya Wade-Fray hopes to make her Olympic Games debut for Great Britain tomorrow after a knee injury ruled her out of the opening game against Australia last night.
The 23-year-old Bermudian could only watch from the sidelines as her team-mates struggled to cope with Australia’s extra height and physicality, going down 74-58.
Wade-Fray, who wore a knee brace as she sat courtside, told The Royal Gazette she hoped to be fit for tonight’s (Monday) game against Canada.
