Teenager stabbed near Hamilton Ferry Terminal
A teenager is in hospital with a collapsed lung following a stabbing at Albuoy's Point.
Police have reported a 16-year-old is being treated at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for injuries following the altercation in Hamilton this afternoon.
Said a Police spokesman: "At approximately 4.40pm today, a 16-year-old male arrived at KEMH with stab wounds to his back and a collapsed lung. Details are sketchy however it appears that there was an altercation in the Albuoy's Point/ Ferry Terminal area which resulted in the 16-year-old's injuries."
Police are asking anyone with information to telephone 295-0011 or the confidential Crime Stoppers hotline, 800-8477.
