Dear Sir,

Once again, I am absolutely flabbergasted as to why CableVision customers have to be subjected to watching another spectacular event such as the Olympics on a local television station. I wouldn’t mind watching special events on such channels if the picture quality wasn’t so poor. Why are we, in this age of digital TV, forced to watch such events broadcast from the dark ages? Maybe local channels should stick to airing news, weather and local sports, then switch over to the overseas affiliates on a digital channel for crystal clear viewing, especially in HDTV. We are left to imagine what the opening ceremonies must have looked like on the HD channels, because here in Bermuda, we will never know.

TRULY AMAZED
