Impossible odds? Many of us have been watching the Olympics in London. Among the many amazing stories that flow from the many athletes at the Games, one is most inspiring. Oscar Pistorius is from South Africa. He is the double amputee who uses special blades so he can run. He was a late entry into the games and participated in the 400 meter sprint. He made it through his heat and qualified for the semi-final. Although he missed out on the finals what he displayed was a willingness to overcome challenges and to make the future happen for him. Just participating in these games was a major accomplishment. It shows that you can overcome almost any obstacle and achieve your dreams. Assess your dreams and goals this week — what can you do to make them happen?

“All our dreams can come true — if we have the courage to pursue them.” — Walt Disney
