British Airways flights between London Gatwick and Bermuda were cancelled yesterday.

A Ministry of Transport spokesman was unable to say what caused the London to Bermuda flight to be cancelled.

However, he said the scheduled flight to the UK from Bermuda had to be scrapped as a result, due to “unavailability of equipment”.

A British Airways spokesperson could not be reached for further explanation. The status of tonight’s flight had not been confirmed as of yesterday evening.
