Man seriously hurt in car smash
A man is in Intensive Care after a two-car smash in Pembroke this afternoon.
A police spokesman said: “At 4:38pm, police received a report of a two-vehicle collision that occurred on The Glebe Road by Yardie Kitchen. It appears that two cars collided.”
The injured man, 59, was at the wheel of one of the cars, and suffered internal bleeding.
He was said by a hospital spokeswoman to be in a serious condition in the Intensive Care Unit as of 9.20pm today.
The driver of the other vehicle was unharmed.
Police appealed for witnesses to call 295-0011.
