Two women were charged with four counts of drug offences in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

Pembroke resident Tynieka Bean, 20, and Warwick resident Tyniesha O’Connor, 22, both pleaded not guilty to all four counts.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner read the counts of conspiracy to import cannabis, conspiracy to import cocaine, importation of cannabis resin and possession of cannabis with intent to distribute.

Prosecutor Cindy Clarke added that the cocaine and the cannabis held a value of over $19,000 each.

Ms Bean and Ms O’Connor were both released on bail for $15,000 and one surety each. They must appear in court again on August 30.
