Health Minister commits to fundraiser
A series of public humiliations for Health Minister Zane DeSilva will be among the attractions at a Big Brothers Big Sisters fund-raising event later this month.
Mr DeSilva will limbo dance at the lowest level, get his hair sprayed green by a member of the audience and have a cream pie thrown in his face as part of the ‘How Much Would You Pay To See Me?’ challenge.
The event takes place at Harbour Nights on Wednesday, August 29, with cash going toward the charity’s efforts improving the lives of children.
“I have committed to participate in this very worthwhile cause and am looking forward to your support for making a complete fool of myself,” said Mr DeSilva in an e-mail.
