Romeo and Juliet was outstanding

Dear Sir,
Those who did not see Romeo and Juliet the ballet last week missed a rare treat. This production, staged under the auspices of the Bermuda Civic ballet was spectacular, with world class dancing in the dramatic setting of Fort Hamilton. The wide stage under the open sky gave a sense of freedom for the very professional dancers, and the natural contours of the fortress provided platforms for the famous balcony scene, the narrator and various group scenes.
The atmosphere was magical with the moon in its halo shining above, and the music blending in with the singing of the tree frogs.
How lucky we are in this small island to have first class shows such as this, and also to have such facilities as Fort Hamilton in which to enjoy them. Congratulations to everyone involved in this masterpiece, especially the dozens of young Bermudians who took part.
