Not sure of Premier’s future
September 2, 2012
Dear Sir,
We all know there are very deep divisions within the Progressive Labour Party, with three and possibly more camps attempting to position themselves for party power. Yes, they will show a “united farce” for the general election but we have all been lied to before by this party. It is interesting to note that the Premier has not, apparently, as yet decided whether or not to stand in the next election, or at least has not made her position clear. Can it be that if Ms Cox is likely to lose the election she will be replaced by Mr Burgess or Mr Lister? Or, could it be that win or lose, Ms Cox will be replaced and she would rather sidestep that ignominy? I think it is about time that the Premier let the voters know if she intends to try and be the PLP party and Government leader after the next general election so we have time to consider the alternatives.
