Online banking problems affect Butterfield customers
Some Butterfield Bank customers trying to get back to business after Tropical Storm Leslie yesterday werent able to do anything through the companys online banking system.
The Royal Gazette received several reports of customers being unable to access their accounts online throughout the morning and into the afternoon.
Some users are experiencing system latency issues with Butterfield Online, a Butterfield spokesperson said yesterday.
The Bank is aware of the problem and is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.
The company says the problem was eventually resolved by late yesterday afternoon, but did not say what caused it.
