Proud of PLP
Dear Sir,
I want to commend the PLP for the job they continue to do.
There has been much negativity said about the PLP of late, and it gives the impression to the unknowing and gullible, that they are doing nothing right. But Sir, I felt empowered, in my commitment to the PLP, when I heard President Obama speak on television, the other night. President Obama said that the Democrats do not believe that the Government can solve all of the country's problems, but they do believe that Government is not to blame for all of the country's problems.
President Obama went on to say that he will never apologise for any debt caused by the building of low income housing, the increase in student financial aid awards and anything else implemented that helps the people of America.
So I say to the PLP, you are doing right by the people of Bermuda and you also should not be blamed for all of the country's problems because many things are the fault of us, the people. And, like Obama said, never apologise for any debt incurred, big or small, that is the result of the good works you perform daily for all sectors of our community, like low income housing, assistance for seniors, child care, college tuition and healthcare, to name a few.
The country's proud of you and your Ministers, and as for me and countless others that I've spoken to, we will not be deterred. We will vote PLP!
