Anticipation. How often do we all anticipate what is going to happen in our futures?

This process has us projecting into the future and sometimes “guessing” what we think might happen. As we all know in some instances we are correct in this anticipation and in other times we are not.

This is really strategic planning at its simplest. All of us plan but too often do not take this process and apply it to our future selves or to our business.

Take a moment this week and jot down what you anticipate will occur in your life and business in the next year. Based on that create some ideas on actions you can take to see if you can make these things happen.

“The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the pas, worry about the future, or anticipate troubles, but to live in the moment widely and earnestly.” — Buddha
