CellOne has announced it is offering customers a variety of new prepaid data plans.

The suite of offerings includes daily, weekly and monthly options that will work on all smartphones and tablets.

The company says the prepaid data plans allow customers to choose how much data they want to use and when they want to use it without committing to a monthly bill or contract commitment.

“Giving prepaid data options to our customers has been on our innovation list for a long time,” said Frank Amaral, chief operating officer of CellOne. “Customers that like the flexibility of prepaid will now have the added ability of staying connected through data on a smartphone or tablet. In today’s connected world, data has become as important as voice, so this was a natural evolution to our product offering.”

The prepaid plans for Blackberry customers start at $9 for a week of Unlimited BlackBerry Social, which includes BBM, Facebook, Twitter, and more. Plans are at promotional prices until January 31, 2013.

For other smartphones such as iPhone and Android devices, customers can get daily, weekly and monthly allotments of data to suit all their needs.
