It would almost be an understatement saying this has been a momentous week for Premier Paula Cox and her ruling Progressive Labour Party.
With speculation rife about her revealing the date she sets for the next General Election, it all began on a high social note, the PLP's 45th Annual Delegates Conference Banquet at the Fairmont Southampton Hotel.
The Premier was the keynote speaker. Theme of the evening was The Green Wave Builds. The upcoming election was mentioned many times throughout the night. All the PLP candidates for the election were highlighted by the Premier in a power-point presentation that also focused on party stalwarts past and present.
